Locum Tenens Physician: Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine
I have worked for CompHealth, Midvale, Utah since November 2017 as a pulmonary and sleep disorders physician. From 11/2017 until 12/2019, I worked at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Grand Junction, Colorado and from 1/20-5/20, at PeaceHealth, Longview, Washington. From September 3, 2020, I worked as a critical care specialist at St. Marks Medical Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. In September and October 2020, I worked at St. Peter’s Health, Helena Montana in the ICU hospital and pulmonary /sleep outpatient. From October 2020- November 2020, I worked at Gerald Champion Medical Center, Alamogordo New Mexico: Outpatient pulmonary. From February through March 2021, I worked at Horatio Oduber Hospital, Oranjested, Aruba in inpatient pulmonary medicine managing several hundred patients afflicted with COVID-19.
From March 2021, through the current, I work at Sanford Health, Bismarck North Dakota in outpatient pulmonary and sleep disorders medicine.

I followed the heritage started by my grandfather in 1907, my father in 1938 by developing an independent solo private practice concentrating in internal but also including pulmonary and sleep disorders medicine. I participated in multiple phase III pharmaceutical trials, introduced the first CBTI program, employed computer-based reaction time and cognitive testing. I chaired a variety of hospital committees and established, certified, and directed the Sleep Center at Community Medical Center. I served on the accreditation committee of the American Sleep Disorders Association. As a faculty member of Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine, I won a teaching award in 2010.

As a partner in a four-member pulmonary, critical care and sleep disorders medicine group, I served suburban coastal New Jersey at three community hospitals in the wide range of pulmonary, critical care and sleep disorders medicine. I established the first certified sleep center at the Jersey shore, and the first pulmonary rehabilitation program in central and southern NJ. I chaired a clinical pathway committee for COPD and pneumonia.
