Senior aviation and commercial space safety leader with more than 40 years of experience building and leading Safety Management Systems (SMS), safety risk management, and accident/incident investigation programs for major airlines and commercial space operators. Led enterprise safety programs and proactive safety initiatives, including ASAP/FOQA/flight data analysis, internal evaluation and audit programs, OSHA and hazardous materials compliance, emergency preparedness and family assistance, and coordination with FAA/NTSB and ICAO Annex 13 requirements. Experienced instructor in graduate aviation safety programs, with an engineering and MBA background and a track record of implementing scalable processes that reduce operational risk across complex, highly regulated environments.
