This highly experienced meteorologist and aviation weather expert brings more than 35 years of leadership, operational, and research experience across the private sector, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the United States Air Force. As Owner/President of a weather consulting firm, he provides weather forecasting, forensic weather analysis, consulting, environmental assessments, and expert testimony, having contributed to more than 50 cases involving weather-related factors.

He previously held senior leadership roles at the FAA, including Division Manager of the Aviation Weather Division and Manager of the Aviation Weather Research Branch, where he led multimillion-dollar programs focused on improving weather decision support tools and aviation safety. Earlier in his career, he worked in private industry as a senior meteorologist and capture manager, and served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as a weather officer, retiring with the rank of Major.

He holds an M.S. in Meteorology from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Meteorology from North Carolina State University. He is a Certified Consulting Meteorologist (CCM) through the American Meteorological Society and has received numerous professional honors, including designation as an AMS Fellow (2025). His extensive publication and presentation record reflects deep expertise in aviation weather, satellite applications, radar, lightning, turbulence, and operational decision support.

Award-winning Pediatrician with more than 30 years of clinical experience and is a distinguished medical educator serving as a Professor of Pediatrics at two esteemed medical universities. She is double boarded by the American Board of Pediatrics in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care medicine.

Her primary specialty has been Pediatric Critical Care medicine since 1990, and Dr. Bartholomew has practiced for decades in nearly every conceivable setting from state-of-the-art quaternary care centers to large academic centers and level I trauma centers with very busy Pediatric Emergency Departments and Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs).

Over the years, Dr. Santa, as she is known to her patients, has had the opportunity to perform locums work in many small and medium-sized community-based hospitals throughout the nation, including Alaska, and she has traveled extensively around the world to provide services to patients in remote villages of undeveloped third-world countries.

Dr. Santa Bartholomew’s practice roles have consisted of Pediatric Intensivist, Pediatric Hospitalist, Pediatric Emergency Consultant, and Emergency Transport of critically ill children, including helicopter flight time in urgent situations. She has managed congenital heart surgery patients who require open heart surgery, renal and all manner of transplant patients, pediatric trauma patients, ECMO support of cardiac patients, and a wide variety of common to rare medical and general pediatric surgical diseases.

She has served as the President of a large 475-member medical staff and has held a variety of professional governance positions. She has been involved in building ground-up PICU programs, spearheading many policy and quality improvement projects, and participating in numerous peer review situations.

Santa J. Bartholomew MD is in good standing and holds unrestricted licenses with 17 state medical boards with no history of disciplinary actions. She has been performing legal review and court services since 1993. During that time, she has successfully delivered testimony for both plaintiff and defense clients across an array of complex pediatric and critical care cases, custody cases, and criminal cases for the court.
