  • Crash Consultant (January 2002 to present) – Conduct crash

investigations and reconstructions for insurance companies, law firms and private

individuals. Provide consultations to businesses in areas of expertise. Provide

instruction to law enforcement agencies and private business in areas of crash

investigation and reconstruction. Provide consultations for businesses in the area of

Federal DOT regulations and vehicle issues.

  • Sergeant, Easton Barrack (November 2004 to May 2011) – Supervisor for seven

member group at a busy full service barrack responsible for coverage of three counties.

Also responsible for the Barrack reconstruction program and accident review program.

Supervisor for the Vehicle Salvage Inspection program.

 

  • Sergeant/ Supervising Officer, Eastern Region, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement

Division (January 2001 to November 2004) – Supervisor for several scale house

operations and/or specially trained roving enforcement teams that provide coverage for

the nine counties that make up the eastern region of Maryland, enforcing state and

federal motor carrier safety regulations and post crash investigations involving

commercial motor vehicles.

  • Sergeant, Salisbury Barrack (December 1999 to January 2001) – Supervisor for a

five member group at a busy full service barrack. Also, the Eastern Region

reconstruction supervisor, responsible for the review and coordination of all

reconstructions in the Eastern Region.

  • Sergeant, Berlin Barrack (July 1999 to December 1999) – Supervisor for a five

member group at a busy full service barrack. Also responsible for the Barrack

reconstruction program and the accident review program.

  • Corporal, Salisbury Barrack (August 1996 to July 1999) – First line supervisor to a

highly productive five member work group. Also responsible for the supervision of the

Barrack and Eastern Region Reconstruction programs. Provided road patrol

supervision and coverage as needed. Led all supervisors in traffic production at the

barrack for three years. Conducted Level 3 commercial vehicle inspections as part of

patrol coverage. Was the Barrack RADAR and VASCAR supervisor.

  • Trooper First Class, Easton Barrack (February 1991 to August 1996) – Uniform

road patrol at a three county, busy full service barrack. Conducted many types of

criminal and traffic investigations including the reconstruction of many commercial

vehicle crashes. Nominated for Easton Barrack trooper of the Year in 1994.

  • Trooper, Easton Barrack (August 1988 to February 1991) – Road patrol

assignments in a busy three county area. Was the maintenance supervisor for the

discontinued Breathalyzer program that covered the five counties of the Upper Shore.

Graduated fourth in a class of 45 troopers.

  • Police Officer, Ocean City (Maryland) Police Department (December 1980 to

February 1988) – Uniform patrol in busy resort town. Handled a wide variety of

criminal, traffic and administrative investigations. Assisted in the supervision and

investigation of all serious and fatal crashes that occurred within the city limits from

1982 through 1985.
