Is currently an Associate Professor, Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Health Physics at a well respected State University. Fields of specialization are reactor and steam generator thermal-hydraulics, reactor safety, computational fluid dynamics, multi-phase / multi-species flow and heat transfer. A prolific author and reviewer for technical journals, as well as a peer reviewer of abstracts and papers. He has been successful in being awarded many grants, some from the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. In addition, this expert is a former US Navy Chief Engineer and later a nuclear engineer at the Dominion Generation Innsbrook Technical Center, supporting both the North Anna and Surry Nuclear Plants. Through his very active association with the American Nuclear Society (ANS), he has organized and chaired annual meeting sessions on the thermal hydraulics of steam generators.
